Causes and solutions

Today, dissuasive measures, such as gloves or bitter substances on the finger, are no longer adopted. Rather, one wonders what drives the baby towards this self-comfort: early weaning that deprived him of the joy of sucking in the first months of life? Rhythms beyond your abilities? The arrival of a little brother?

Solutions: replace this pleasure with a palliative, decelerate by proposing slower rhythms. Also, give them more time and distract them with reading or playing games together.
